Advanced Digital Design

Course Type: Core Visual Arts Sequence Year 3

 

This course will offer opportunities to develop a digital and physical portfolio of designs while expanding students' toolkit as a maker and communicator at large. Students will explore digital media and learn about the professional graphic design industry. Students will use the Adobe Creative Cloud with a concentration on Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Students will learn about the core skills of Graphic Arts and the real world applications that these skills enhance. This includes Typography, Design Methodologies, Branding, Advertising, Illustration, and Book Arts. 

 

*Prerequisites: This class is for juniors and requires students to have taken Studio Art Foundations and Graphic Communication.
