Acting for TV and Film

Acting for the camera is different than acting on a stage. In this class, you will learn how to adjust your performance for the screen. You’ll practice building characters, studying scripts, and acting in front of a real camera. Through fun exercises and filmed scene work, you’ll get helpful feedback to make your acting look natural on video. You will also learn how to ace auditions and hear from guest speakers who work in the industry. By the end of the year, you will have a digital portfolio of your recorded scenes to show to colleges or agents.
