Directing

Ready to step behind the scenes? This class is for theater students who want to go from acting to directing. You don't need any directing experience to start!

Most of your grade comes from what you do in class, though there will be some writing. You’ll also help your classmates by acting in their projects while they practice directing you.

What you'll do:

• Unit 1: Learn how to tell stories using movement and stage pictures.

• Unit 2: Add dialogue and learn how to coach actors.

• Final Project: Pick, practice, and perform a two-person scene from start to finish.
